Location: Dallas TX. This is a flexible hybrid opportunity combining remote work with collaborative time in our Dallas office.

Job Description

• Analyze insurance policies and complex first-party property coverage issues
• Handle coverage matters from pre-suit analysis through litigation and resolution
• Conduct and defend depositions and examinations under oath
• Draft pleadings motions briefs and other persuasive legal documents
• Develop litigation and coverage strategies in partnership with experienced attorneys and clients
• Participate in mediations negotiations and other dispute-resolution proceedings
• Communicate clearly with clients regarding case developments strategy and coverage considerations
• Manage multiple matters efficiently while responding effectively to time-sensitive issues

Qualifications

• 3 years of insurance coverage experience
• Experience with first-party property coverage matters strongly preferred
• Experience with policy analysis examinations under oath depositions pleadings motions or mediations
• Excellent legal writing analytical and oral advocacy skills
• Strong communication organization and time-management abilities
• Detail-oriented and comfortable managing multiple priorities
• Collaborative team-first approach
• Ability and willingness to provide a writing sample
