This position requires driving a University vehicle or a personal vehicle on behalf of the University; therefore the incumbent must successfully complete a Motor Vehicle History Check possess and maintain a current valid drivers license in their state of residence be determined to be position qualified and self-report convictions (as per Voluntary and Compulsory Driver Standards OSU Standard ) as per OSU Standard et seq.
OSU will conduct a review of the National Sex Offender Public website prior to hire.

This recruitment will be used to fill five part-time (a maximum of 24 hours per week) Athletic Operations Student Assistant for the OSU Athletics Facilities and Events at Oregon State University (OSU).
This position is for a student to assist the Events and Facility Operations team members with the preparation and execution of assigned tasks for home sporting events and outside rentals. Projects include working directly with the Event Manager of assigned OSU Athletics sporting events while leading a group of your peers. Communicating with outside groups throughout the rental process setting up event contracts conducting walkthroughs and being the day of contact for selected external events. This position will be responsible for creating event layouts and working with outside vendors during event rentals.
Position Duties:
- Oversee Game Day Operations for OSU Athletics Home teams; Football M&W Basketball M&W Soccer Gymnastics Wrestling Volleyball Softball Track & Field and Baseball.
- Assemble/perform basic maintenance and troubleshoot problems with equipment.
- Manual labor pressure washing weed pulling facility set ups/breakdowns etc.
- Assist with set up and breakdown of all athletic events meetings and special events
- Serve as a liaison between OSU Athletics and visiting teams officials administrators patrons etc.
- Responsible for the locking up of all OSU Athletics Facilities Assist Full-Time staff with various projects.
- General maintenance like painting and hanging equipment.
- Measures and paints field lines for activities using outdoor fields; measures and tapes court lines on indoor courts.
- Perform general landscaping blowing leaves weeding beds mowing and edging.
- Other Duties as Assigned.
