AthleticEvent Worker (6565)

This posting is for athletic/event workersthat have been approved by the Site Athletic Director. Athletic/event workers are not permitted to begin services until cleared by Human Resources.

QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Must be 18 years of age
2. Must pass a background clearance.
3. Must obtain an Arizona IVP Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card
4. Ability to follow routine verbal and written instructions.
5. Ability to secure and handle cash.
6. Knowledge of customer service standards and procedures.

TERM OF EMPLOYMENT:Seasonal
COMPENSATION: Per QCUSD salary schedule for applicable position
REPORTS TO: Site Athletic Director

PERFORMANCERESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsibilities shall include but not be limited to the following:

1. Assistsin setting-up and break down of facility for athletic events ticket sales and/or running the clock keeping scorebook running the scoreboard and other game-day responsibilities as needed.
2. Maintain and create an atmosphere of safety and excellent customer service
3. Provide assistance toevent attendees or staff when needed or asked.
4. EnforceDistrict policies at all times.
5. Performs various similar duties as required by circumstances at specific events such as clearing trash from facilities.
6. Performs other job-related duties as assigned to advance district priorities.
