• Responsibilities
  • Coverage of assigned athletic events
  • Rendering treatment plans outlined by physician for injured athletes
  • Assessment of injured athletes and proper referral to a physician when necessary
  • Communication with parents coaches athletic director team orthopedist & therapists
  • Documentation of evaluations and treatments
  • Maintain proper equipment and supplies for coverage of athletic events
  • Contribute to a positive work environment and the overall Sports Medicine team

Education:

• Bachelors or Masters Degree in Athletic Training
• NEW GRADUATES WELCOME

License/Certification:

• NATA BOC certified
• Eligible for Alabama state licensure
• Basic Life Support and AED Certification
