POSITION OBJECTIVE: This position is responsible for the maintenance and distribution of athletic uniforms and equipment for the school athletic programs. Works with athletes and trainers in the proper fitting of equipment. Duties include: oversee student sport managers; monitoring of site and equipment set-up; evaluating equipment for purchase and use; and maintaining inventory and related records. | |

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: (positions in this class typically require): High School Diploma or G.E.D. and one year of athletic equipment coaching or recreation experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job such as those listed above. Obtain Athletic Equipment Managers Association (AEMA) Certification or complete the AEMA certification exam Athletic Equipment Managers Association within 2-years of employment. | |

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Positions in this class typically require: climbing balancing stooping kneeling crouching reaching standing walking pushing pulling lifting finger dexterity grasping talking hearing seeing and repetitive motions. Medium Work: Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
