Goddard High School is seeking an At-Risk Reading Paraprofessional to assist students in the classroom. This position is 37.5 hours per week.
Position Overview
Successful candidate will engage in delivering instructional support and content delivery tostudents and will also work in supporting classroom teachers during classroom and program support forstudents as directed by the principal or designated leading teacher. Assists with meeting established student outcomes based on students capacity to master appropriate curriculum; reinforcement activities preparation scheduling communication students personal needs logistics as assigned.
Qualifications
Energetic relational compassionate professional capable of building quality relationships with students and adults.
Ability to work effectively with students of varying abilities
Patient dependable and team-oriented
Responsibilities
Assist teachers with classroom instruction and activities
Provide support to individual students or small groups
Help reinforce academic and behavioral expectations
Prepare instructional materials as directed
Monitor student progress and assist with classroom management
Maintain a safe respectful and engaging learning environment
