Primary Responsibilities

• Assist with building executing and allocating trades across client accounts and custodial platforms including equities mutual funds and other approved investment vehicles.

• Monitor daily trading workflows queues and task lists to help ensure timely and accurate completion of trading activity.

• Research and help resolve trade position and cash breaks in coordination with Trading Operations Advisors custodians and executing brokers.

• Assist with maintaining client accounts within rebalancing software including setup target updates and running rebalancing tools.

• Support portfolio maintenance activities including rebalancing cash reviews tax-loss harvesting and identification of portfolios requiring review.

• Support cash management workflows by reviewing cash balances contributions distributions pending cash needs and coordinating follow-up with advisory and operations teams.

• Use the firms trading and CRM platforms including RedBlack and Salesforce to support daily trading and portfolio management activities.

• Adhere to trading procedures compliance requirements and established operating best practices.

• Complete additional ad hoc assignments accurately and on time while providing appropriate updates to stakeholders.

• Assist with the development and maintenance of automation solutions for the trading team using Python Visual Basic and/or Power Automate.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Finance Economics Accounting Business Mathematics or a related discipline preferred.

• One to three years of experience in financial services investment operations trading support or a related role preferred; entry-level candidates with strong relevant coursework or internship experience may also be considered.

• Interest in trading portfolio operations financial markets and investment management.

• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and the ability to work accurately with financial data.

• Working knowledge of Python; experience with VBA or Power Automate is a plus.

• Experience with trading portfolio accounting CRM or custodial technology platforms is helpful but not required.

• Experience with equity mutual fund or fixed income trading and familiarity with Fidelity Institutional or Charles Schwab Institutional is a plus.

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize work manage recurring deadlines and escalate issues appropriately.

• Clear written and verbal communication skills.

• Positive team-oriented attitude with a willingness to learn and take direction.

This position is an exempt position. The annualized base pay range for this role is expected to be between $60000$$80000 base salary compensation range. Actual base pay may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience subject matter expertise geographic location where work will be performed and the applicants skill set. The base pay is just one component of the total compensation package. Other rewards may include an annual cash bonus and a comprehensive benefits package including but not limited to medical dental vision life insurance and 401(k).
