Discover more by following us on LinkedIn!GENERAL FUNCTION:The Associate Technician is responsible for the set-up operation and basic maintenance of equipment within the assigned area for work task/job in surface or finish portions of lab DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Perform various tasks of area production machine functions:Interpretation of Rx work production operations on specified equipment in accordance with established basic/routine maintenance of assigned to troubleshoot mal-functioning equipment and advise supervisor as to possible tasks include but not be limited to:Lens selection/ set up for daily clean up at days all necessary solutions or slurry mixtures for lens production process (when applicable) and insure sufficient supplies are daily and weekly calibration of equipment as directed by area supervisor and in accordance with established divisional operation communicate with all levels of the laboratory to assure understanding and the proper application of company policies practices and work area and common areas of department in a neat clean and organized and follows all company and laboratory policies and procedures and ensure compliance with all attendance & safety rules and regulations. Maintain confidentiality of all proprietary assist others as necessary to keep work current meet deadlines or maintain an even workload. Cooperate with other employees and demonstrate a good attitude. Perform an acceptable quantity and quality of work on time as proper training work direction and technical guidance for less experienced employees. Attend in-house or sponsored training meetings when other duties as position requires exposure to one or more hazardous substances/chemicals which requires safety QUALIFICATIONS:High school diploma GED or equivalent work to multi-task orientation to detail and ability to operate in a fast-paced high school level math skills to lift/move up to 50 Range: 19.79 - posting is for an existing vacancy within our business.
