Associate Structural Engineer New York, NY

We are seeking an experienced Associate Structural Engineer to provide technical leadership and oversee the delivery of complex structural engineering projects across a variety of sectors.

This is an exciting opportunity for a senior engineering professional who combines strong technical expertise with project leadership team development client relationship management and a passion for delivering innovative building solutions.

• Lead the analysis and design of structural systems for diverse building projects in accordance with applicable codes and standards.
• Manage structural engineering projects from design through construction and completion.
• Coordinate with clients contractors consultants and multidisciplinary project teams.
• Represent the engineering team at client meetings design reviews and construction site meetings.
• Conduct site observations and respond to technical queries during construction.
• Mentor and develop engineering and drafting staff.
• Oversee the preparation and review of construction drawings specifications and technical documents.
• Maintain high standards of technical quality client service project delivery and commercial performance.
• Support business development and contribute to building strong client relationships.

• Masters degree in Structural Engineering or a related field.
• At least 10 years of significant structural engineering experience including project or team leadership.
• Professional Engineer (PE) and/or Structural Engineer (SE) licence.
• Demonstrated experience leading structural engineering projects during construction.
• Strong knowledge of structural analysis building design and applicable codes.
• Proven project management client relationship and team leadership skills.
• Excellent communication collaboration and problem-solving abilities.
• A proactive approach to project delivery and business development.
