Role:

TheClient Service Solutions(CSS)team is dedicated to elevating the client experience at Northern TrustIntegrated Portfolio Solutions (IPS). This pivotal role focuses on enhancing client relationships and optimizing operational effectiveness across the bank. As a CSS Partner you will act as a primary liaison ensuring that all client expectations are surpassed through meticulous management of Middle Office and Operational services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Relationship Management: Foster strong partnerships with clients by understanding their unique needs and advocating for them withinIPS. Regularly engage with clients to discuss operational improvements and enhancements to their service experience.

  • Operational Excellence: Coordinate with Operational Partners to maintain and execute daily weekly and monthly deliverable control checklists ensuring all service targets and deadlines are achieved. Oversee the resolution of discrepancies and ensure seamless month-end workflows.

  • Communication and Leadership: Serve as a proactive point of contact for clients offering solutions for operational efficiencies and cost reductions. Lead and motivate staff promoting an environment of teamwork open communication and exceptional client servicing.

  • Strategic Oversight: Develop a comprehensive understanding of the clients business processes and their dependencies on our deliverables. Lead shared service teams driving agendas and ensuring accountability for outstanding results.

  • Client Engagement: Actively participate in client onsite visits fostering stronger relationships and understanding client operations firsthand.

  • Issue Resolution and Escalation Management: Efficiently manage and resolve client issues liaising with Relationship Managers and othermanagersto ensure consistent service delivery. Escalate critical issues as necessary.

  • Project and Workflow Management: Manage key client projects and contribute to the continuous improvement of internal processes. Ensure smooth transitions of monthly workflows to the Backoffice team.

Competencies Required:

  • Professional Experience: Minimum of5years in trade operations reconciliations hedge fund administration or a related field.

  • Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.

  • Leadership and Collaboration: Proven leadership skills with a knack for building productive relationships across all levels of the organization.

  • Client-Centric Mindset: A strong focus on client satisfaction and proactive problem-solving.

  • Analytical Skills: Excellent project management and organizational skills with an ability to prioritize effectively.

  • Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in Excel with VBA knowledge considered a plus.

  • Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with financial products and P&L calculations.

Salary Range:

$95600 - 162400 USD

Salary range is a good faith estimate of base pay. Northern Trust provides a comprehensive benefits package including retirement benefits (401k and pension) health and welfare benefits (medical dental vision spending accounts and disability) paid time off parental and caregiver leave life & accident insurance and other voluntary and well-being benefits. Northern Trust also provides a discretionary bonus program that may include an equity component.
