Do you want to help us build new things and evangelize use of AWS with customers As an Associate Solutions Architect you will partner across AWS to help customers craft highly scalable flexible and resilient cloud architectures that address customer business problems. As a trusted customer advocate you will help organizations understand best practices around cloud-based solutions and how to migrate existing workloads to the cloud. You will have the opportunity to help customers use AWS within their organizations ranging from new start-ups to large enterprise customers.

This position is part of an accelerated career development program for those who want to advance both their technical and business skills. This is a unique opportunity for driven self-starters to play a key role in a fast-growing business and to deliver significant value to AWS customers of all sizes from nimble startups to global brands. The program will provide you with training and work experience that aligns in the field of technical training. This unique program consists of mentoring by subject matter experts project-based learning curriculum and experiential learning assignments.

Program Overview:

This is a structured cohort-based accelerated development program designed for early career Solutions Architects. Youll join a cohort of peers at one of our hub locations in Arlington VA Austin TX or Seattle WA building a professional network from Day 1.

Youll be embedded in a supportive team with a dedicated mentor an onboarding buddy and a manager who guides your technical and professional growth. Youll follow a structured learning journey that develops deep expertise in cloud architecture AI/ML and customer-facing solution design. Within weeks youll begin working directly with AWS customers from startups to large enterprises helping them architect cloud solutions that solve real business problems.

Start Date Details:
This is a cohort-based program where everyone is required to start on the same day. Start dates are tentatively set to occur January 25 2027.



Key job responsibilities
- Create solutions that address customer business problems and accelerate the adoption of AWS services

- Interface with customer stakeholders including developers and team leads

- Drive effective feedback gathering from customers distill and translate feedback into clear business and technical requirements for product and engineering teams

A day in the life
No two days look exactly the same and thats what makes this role exciting. Your morning might start with a team stand-up where you share wins and learning moments with your cohort and mentor followed by a hands-on lab building a serverless architecture or working with an AI model on Amazon Bedrock. By midday you could be on a customer call helping a CTO plan a cloud migration whiteboarding an architecture recommending services and walking them through a proof-of-concept with your mentor there to support the afternoon you might attend a technical session led by a senior SA on emerging technology then spend time working toward your next AWS certification. Later youll collaborate with your cohort on a group project building a customer-facing demo writing a technical blog post or preparing for your next development milestone. Youll also have opportunities to participate in leadership development programming and community events that go beyond your core technical work.

About the team

Youll work across industries customer sizes and technology domains giving you a breadth of experience that accelerates your career faster than a traditional single-team placement.

- Currently has or is in the process of obtaining a Bachelors degree or above in Computer Science Computer Engineering or related fields
- Experience with one of the following programming languages: Python Ruby C# or C
- Experience with AI/ML technologies
- Experience with one or more of the following domains: analytics security storage DevOps application development or machine learning
- Experience in written and verbal communication skills to communicate with technical and non-technical audiences including senior leadership
- Must be 18 or older

- AWS or other cloud certification
- Experience applying established frameworks and design patterns to deliver working software (can include coursework personal projects hackathons or previous internships)
