Who we are hiring

We are seeking an Associate Software Engineer to join our growing R&D team. This is an amazing opportunity for an early-career developer with a foundation in backend development who is eager to build scalable applications APIs and cloud-based solutions. The successful candidate will work closely with senior engineers product teams and stakeholders to design develop test and support software solutions that drive business value.

The ideal candidate has experience -based APIs exposure to and TypeScript familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and a solid understanding of SQL databases.

What you will do

• Design develop test and maintain backend applications and services.
• Build and enhance APIs technologies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver technical solutions.
• Develop and support applications using modern software engineering best practices.
• Write clean maintainable and well-documented code.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
• Support cloud infrastructure provisioning and deployment activities using Terraform.
• Troubleshoot and resolve application database and performance issues.
• Create and optimize SQL queries stored procedures and database integrations.
• Participate in Agile development processes including sprint planning standups and retrospectives.
• Assist in monitoring maintaining and improving application reliability and scalability.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Software Engineering Information Technology or related field or equivalent practical experience.
• 1-3 years of professional software development experience (internship experience may be considered).
• Experience developing backend services and APIs using C# .
• Working knowledge of SQL databases and database design concepts.
• Understanding of object-oriented programming principles and software design patterns.
• Familiarity with version control tools such as Git.
• Strong analytical problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Exposure to and TypeScript development.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) preferably Terraform.
• Experience working with cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker.
• Understanding of API security authentication and authorization standards.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

Compensation

The base salary range for this position starts at $80000 based on relevant experience skills and industry knowledge. Asure Software offers a variety of employee benefits. Salary information is determined by market location and is provided in accordance with state and local pay-transparency laws.
