Summary of Job Duties:
Under direct supervision provides accurate and timely troubleshooting of security system and network cabling components. Performs installations of electronic control systems which may include door access control CCTV intrusion detection communication cable management electronic locks Wi-Fi locks network switches point sensors signaling devices and associated hardware. Responds to situations where systems have failed and action must be taken to isolate or repair problem equipment software or make configuration changes to return systems to full functionality.
Qualifications:
Associate degree in computer science or a related fieldof study or
High School diploma/GED plus two (2) years of experience in cabling low voltage systems carpentry/building maintenance required.
Valid Drivers License.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in IT Computer Science or a related field
Arkansas Alarm License Level 1
Customer Service experience.
Responsibilities:
- Install program and commission electronic control systems which may include door access control CCTV intrusion detection communication structured cabling cable management electronic locks Wi-Fi locks network switches point sensors signaling devices and associated hardware.
Troubleshoot and repair problems with equipment software or configuration and return systems to full functionality.
Provide end-user support and assistance with badge access video surveillance electronic control systems and other network system components.
Documents work in progress and solutions to trouble calls using call tracking software. Provides manager with daily status reports of ongoing projects.
Performs other duties as assigned.
