Our Planning Division plays an important role in guiding community growth and development. We work with residents property owners developers and others to navigate the Citys Comprehensive Plan land use policies and Development Code. Our team reviews a wide variety of land use applications from subdivisions and development proposals to variances and other planning matters.

Associate Planner
Salary Range: $66949 to $84712
A Bachelors Degree in city planning community development or a related field and two years of government related land use planning experience are required; or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job as listed in thejob description.- Valid drivers license Oregon Class C with an acceptable driving record
Senior Planner(This position is exempt from overtime.)
Salary Range: $76761 to $103071
A Bachelors Degree in planning or a related field and four (4) years of progressively responsible professional planning experience including one (1) year of supervisory experience are required; or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job such as those listed in the job description.- Valid drivers license Oregon Class C with an acceptable driving record
- American Institute of Certified Planners certificate preferred
