Introduction to the role
The Associate Director Incentive CompensationHematology/Nephrologywill play a critical role in the success of AlexionsHem/Nephbusiness and the Business Operations and Commercial Effectiveness organization! We are looking for someone who will be a critical business partner to USHem/Nephand is accountable for leading and administering theend to endIncentive Compensation process for theHem/ roleis responsible forbeing a strategic leader within the Business Operations and Commercial Effectiveness group partnering with the necessary functional areas tooptimizeincentive candidates will provide expert review advice and counsel on Incentive Plan creation and administration evaluation and benchmarking.
What youll do:
Responsible for the strategic design and administration of field-based compensation programs for the USHem/Nephbusiness that recognize and reward employee performance and drive business results.
Performingcomplex research and analysis of rewards and incentive compensation programs in support of business objectives
BenchmarkingSales Incentive Plan designs and ensuringlocal market competitiveness.
Workingwith internal teams and potentially outside vendors and consultants to enhance data availability and incorporate such data into incentive plans.
Leadingprojects involving the development of innovative modelsmethodologiesand approaches.
Creatingpresentation material for communications training and executive reviews. Managingthe communication and training of incentive compensation plans.
Leadingsenior management and key collaborators (Business Operations and Commercial Effectiveness HR Legal Finance and other cross-functional team members) through the approval of incentive plans.
Performingquality control measures to ensurehigh levelof accuracy
Managingfield inquiries related to incentive compensation
Teamingwith technology partners to define system business specifications and automate performance reporting and incentive calculations.
Providingongoing monitoring and analysis of incentive plans.
Staying on top of federal and state government regulationsimpactingcompensation programs.
Ensuringcompliance with Alexion processes touching incentive compensation.
Requirements:
Bachelors degreerequired(Business Finance Math or related major is preferred)
Pharmaceutical industry experience preferably in rarediseaserequired.
Analytics skills inclusive of advanced Microsoft Excel capabilities
Demonstrated understanding of various incentive compensation plans including but not limited to commission goal and MBO or equivalent experience plan builds
Proven ability to communicate clearly concisely and effectively to express information in both written and oral context
Detail oriented strong problem-solving skills with a sense of urgency
Ability to quicklyestablishrelationships of trust and credibility with internalstakeholder-partnersand to be seen as a partner to the business.
High levelof attention to detail paired with the ability to effectively assess and diagnose business needs and develop impactful solutions.
In-depth critical thinking and creative problem-solving skills
Deep understanding of sales processes methodologies and procedures

The annual base pay for this position ranges from 147908.00 - 221862.00 positions offer eligibility for various incentivesan opportunity to receive short-term incentive bonuses equity-based awards for salaried roles and commissions for sales roles. Benefits offered include qualified retirement programs paid time off (i.e. vacation holiday and leaves) as well as health dental and vision coverage in accordance with the terms of the applicable plans.
