Overview

WhatYoullDo:
The Associate Director will work as a member of a small cross-functional team with ownership of Amazon strategy.They willbe responsible fordriving our clients Amazon growth and acceleration strategy. The Associate Director must have a mastery of Amazon Marketing Services (AMS) Paid Search/Sponsored Product Listings as well as Amazon Media Group (AMG) services such as on-site display advertising and AAP.

The ideal candidate must havestrong teammanagement and expert-level eCommerce experience. Our eCommerce team works across a diverse range of sectors on some of the largest and most dynamic clients within the agency.We are looking for an enthusiastic leader who is keen to submerge themselves intoa number ofprojects.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee the clients strategy and growth ofAmazon Marketing Services (AMS) Paid Search/Sponsored Product Listings as well as Amazon Media Group (AMG) services such as on-site display advertising andAAP

  • Become a subject matter expert and educate teams and clients of the eCommerce retailenvironment

  • Build end-to-end ecommerce strategy and plans for theclient

  • Assistinternal teams within the Commerce practice in growing each clientsbusiness

  • Work with cross-functionalteams to provide insight andrecommendations

  • Develop manage andmonitorclient service delivery executions of the assignedaccounts

  • Oversee process development and executionmanagement

  • Assures quality control of all media planning andimplementation

  • Ensure best practices are inplace

  • Prepare and present annual financial and staffingplans

  • Implement planning process for the assigned accounts and holistic media planning across paid search platforms andinitiatives

  • Coordinate efforts across different digital media channels to drive optimizedrecommendations

  • Continuously evaluate and improve upon all digital mediaopportunities

  • Attend to client meetings as needed interface as needed with executive level and middle management level on client side during meetings andpresentations

  • Embrace and encourage a culture based onteam work collaboration and intellectual curiosity

  • Motivate lead and manage internal teams working collaboratively to drive programs that meet our clients performance and businessobjectives

  • Drive adoption of stated account management best practices through examplesettingpositive reinforcement and behavioral correction

  • Conduct performance reviews and career pathplans

  • Provide training to direct reports asneeded

  • Facilitate the development and documentation of best practices for improving operational efficiencies within the team and thegroup

  • Manage lead and mentor team

Qualifications
  • Bachelors degree or higher preferred preferably in marketing advertising business engineering statistics economics sociology or equivalent

  • 5 years of related experience

  • 2 years of team management experience

  • eCommerce media buying and planning experienceis

  • Experience with Amazon Marketing Services (AMS) Paid Search/Sponsored Product Listings and Amazon Media Group (AMG)services

  • Excellent communication and organizational skills

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with diversegroups

  • Proficiencyin Microsoft Office including Exceland PowerPoint as well as other equivalent programs and asappropriate specificindustry tools andtechnology

  • A proven ability to multi-task and manage multipleprojects effectively and work well under pressure to deliver high-qualitywork within tightdeadlines

  • Exceptional critical thinking and problem-solvingabilities with the ability to think unconventionally in proposingsolutions

Compensation Range: USD $106780.00 - USD $153405.00/Annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law compensation will be determined based on the skills qualifications and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. Temporary roles may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met.
