Location: El Segundo / Remote
Pay Range: $100K - $115K (based on experience)
Requirements
- J.D. from an accredited law school.
- Active membershipinthe California State Bar.
- 13 years of experience in personal injury litigation preferably with both defense and plaintiff-side experience
Responsibilities
- Assistin handling personal injury cases from intake through settlement or litigation.
- Draft demand packages pleadings motions discovery requests and discovery responses.
- Conduct legal research and analyze liability damages and insurance coverage issues.
- Communicate with clients insurance adjusters medical providers and opposing counsel.
- Participate in case strategy discussions and collaborate with senior attorneys and support staff.
- Attend court appearances hearings depositions mediations and settlement conferences as needed.
- Review medical records billing records and other evidence relevant to client claims.
- Assistwith trial preparation and other litigation-related tasks.
