Location: This is a full-time 100% on-site position based in Milford Connecticut offering the opportunity to work side-by-side with experienced litigators in a highly collaborative office environment.

Note: Applicants must be admitted to the Connecticut Bar and have experience practicing in Connecticut State Court and/or Federal Court. This is an in-office litigation role best suited for attorneys who are passionate about advocacy and courtroom practice.

Job Description

• Represent clients in complex commercial litigation matters from inception through resolution.
• Appear in Connecticut State and Federal Courts.
• Handle courtroom proceedings mediations arbitrations and hearings.
• Take and defend depositions of parties and witnesses.
• Draft pleadings motions briefs discovery requests and legal memoranda.
• Research legal and factual issues to develop effective litigation strategies.
• Analyze business disputes contracts records and potential claims.
• Collaborate closely with experienced attorneys while managing substantive case responsibilities.
• Provide exceptional client service throughout all phases of litigation.

Qualifications

• Connecticut Bar admission required.
• 2 years of litigation experience as an attorney preferred; experienced attorneys at higher levels are encouraged to apply.
• Experience practicing in Connecticut State Court and/or Federal Court required.
• Passion for litigation and courtroom advocacy.
• Excellent legal research writing and communication skills.
• Strong organizational and time management abilities.
• Ability to work independently while thriving in a collaborative team environment.
• Commercial litigation experience preferred.
• Judicial clerkship experience is a plus.
