Salary & Benefits

Primary Duties

• Instruct and lead a positional group on the womens lacrosse team in their skill development team strategies and scouting.

• Assist in the recruitment of student-athletes including evaluating at tournaments communication to recruits and the planning in official and unofficial visits.

• Assist in the creation of team activities including team bonding events team leadership workshops and community service.

• Camp/Clinic Coordinator

• Coordinate with GVSU support staff including facilities academic advisors strength and conditioning coaches and exercise science staff.

• Performs other duties as required/assigned by manager.

• Bachelors degree

• Candidate to have successful lacrosse coaching experience at the club high school or collegiate level.

• Thorough understanding of the NCAA rules and regulations.

• Candidate must have a strong commitment to the academic achievement of student-athletes and NCAA compliance.

• Excellent communication organizational and computer skills.

• This position requires driving a company/university vehicle valid drivers license is required with an acceptable driving record.

• Masters degree

• Successful knowledge and experience recruiting high level student-athletes.

• Experience on collegiate level lacrosse staff.

• Experience in coaching offensive concepts and skills.

• Experience in developing team culture and curriculum.

Working Conditions

Normal office environment. Team and recruiting travel is required.
