Job Summary:
Northeastern Universitys Division of Enrollment Management seeks a dynamic strategic and driven leader to serve as Assistant Vice President of Strategic Enrollment Initiatives. Reporting directly to the Chief Enrollment Officer and Head of Global Expansion this senior role serves as a key architect of the Divisions strategic execution responsible for ensuring that the Divisions most important initiatives move from vision to reality.
This is a high-impact leadership position for someone who combines strategic acumen with the interpersonal credibility to hold people accountable build authentic relationships and drive results across a complex matrixed organization. The Assistant Vice President is a trusted ally a driver of accountability and a steward of commitments unwavering in their dedication to moving the Divisions most important work forward.
The ideal candidate is an experienced enrollment professional and emerging executive leader who pushes through obstacles inspires confidence and brings out the best in the teams and individuals around them.
Alongside this strategic leadership the AVP oversees a high-performing team of Senior Directors and Directors who manage the Divisions best-in-class enrollment technology systems while also maintaining responsibility for the units budget and the contracts that support the Divisions operations.
Required Experience
- 810 years of progressive leadership experience in enrollment management higher education administration or a closely related field
- Demonstrated success leading complex cross-functional initiatives in a large dynamic institution
- Proven ability to hold colleagues and teams accountable while maintaining strong trust-based relationships
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills written verbal and executive presence
- A track record of pushing through obstacles and delivering results even under pressure or in ambiguity
- Experience managing and developing direct reports
Preferred Experience
- Masters degree in Higher Education or Higher Education Administration
- Experience working closely with or within a senior enrollment or university leadership team
- Familiarity with enrollment strategy including undergraduate and/or graduate recruitment retention financial aid and student success
- Experience at a large research university or similarly complex institution
- Familiarity with Northeastern Universitys mission culture and enrollment landscape

$157130.00 - $227840.00With the pay range(s) shown above the starting salary will depend on several factors which may include your education experience location knowledge and expertise and skills as well as a pay comparison to similarly-situated employees already in the role. Salary ranges are reviewed regularly and are subject to change.
