| Job Summary/Basic Function: | The Assistant Vice President of Campus Services (AVP) provides leadership operational oversight and management for Campus Services units and supports the development and implementation of related policies and procedures. This includes: the Student Union; Bronco Card; Office of University Events; Bronco Shop; and Boise State Dining and their associated functions. The position also oversees contracts for the universitys dining services and beverage pouring rights. Reporting to the Vice President for Student Affairs and Enrollment Management (VPSAEM) the AVP operates within established divisional and university priorities and exercises substantial discretion in managing assigned operations. The position develops and maintains budgets operational controls ten-year capital and operating plans and required internal and external reporting subject to divisional and university review and approval. The AVP exercises independent judgement and makes complex decisions in situations with established precedent to ensure departmental divisional and university objectives are achieved. The role regularly leads complex high-impact initiatives within Campus Services and may lead selected cross-functional projects affecting multiple university stakeholders. The role regularly collaborates with divisional leadership and appropriate university partners providing information and recommendations to senior leaders on matters affecting Campus Services. Please note this position is open to current regular Boise State University employees only. |
| Level Scope: | Accountable for leading departments or major areas within a division through managers and directors. Works under broad administrative direction with responsibility for providing strategic leadership and direction in the planning implementing improving and evaluating of an administrative department and promoting operational improvements. Oversees and provides direction for budgets and operational forecasts. Makes complex independent decisions for situations with precedent to ensure department or area within a division objectives are met. |

| MinimumQualifications: | Bachelors degree or equivalent plus 10 years of experience including 6 years of managerial experience. |
