Job Summary
VARSITY TRACK AND FIELD ASSISTANT COACH - POLE VAULT
Durham Academy is accepting applications for part-time varsity assistant track coach with a specialization in pole vault.
Position: Teaching coaching and mentoring 5-10 high school athletes participating in the pole vault event. Will report directly to the Head Coaches.
Qualifications:
Experience competing as a pole vault athlete at the high school or college level.
Can teach basic intermediate and advanced skills regarding mechanics technique and form.
Must be able to develop and implement workouts appropriate for varying skill levels.
Ability to communicate and work well with other coaches parents and student-athletes.
Enjoy helping student-athletes reach their potential.
Must have valid drivers license.
Attend practices and meets.
When:
February-Mid May
Practice times Monday through Friday 3:30 to 5:30
No weekend responsibilities other than attending the Conference and State Meet at the end of the season
