Were seeking a detail-oriented Assistant Superintendent to join our growing operations this role youll support the Superintendent in managing daily on-site construction activities-ensuring projects are completed safely on time within budget and to Live Oaks high standards of quality.

Youll coordinate subcontractors monitor progress and help maintain compliance with all project requirements. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced construction professional ready to advance into site leadership within a dynamic team-oriented environment.

• Assist the Superintendent in planning scheduling and supervising all on-site construction activities.

• Support review of drawings specifications and project plans for accuracy and compliance.

• Help coordinate subcontractors and ensure adherence to project schedules budgets and quality standards.

• Promote and enforce safety policies and participate in weekly site safety meetings.

• Monitor construction progress identify potential risks and assist in implementing corrective actions.

• Maintain jobsite cleanliness and organization to ensure a professional and safe environment.

• Build strong working relationships with project managers trade partners engineers and inspectors.

• Participate in project closeout including punch list completion and final documentation.

• Represent Live Oaks mission and values through professionalism communication and teamwork.

• Education: High School Diploma or GED required.

• Experience: Minimum of 3 years in multifamily or similar commercial construction (Project Engineer or equivalent role preferred).

• Skills:

  • Strong leadership and organizational abilities.

  • Knowledge of building codes construction methods and scheduling software.

  • Effective communicator with strong attention to detail.

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.

• Other Requirements:

  • Valid drivers license and willingness to travel as needed.

  • Ability to work on active construction sites (walking climbing bending etc.).

  • Availability for occasional nights and weekends as project needs require.
