SummaryWe are seeking an Assistant Superintendent to join our team in the Chantilly VA area. This role will assist the Superintendent by managing designated field activities associated with the project and supervision of designated field construction work by subcontractors and employees. Assists the project team to ensure the project is built on time within budget and in accordance with Balfour Beatty Constructions policies & procedures and the focus on our vision and purpose through Service Talent and Choices. 30 hours of OSHA training once every four years or maintain STS FunctionsProject Financial Responsibilities Preconstruction ServicesProject Start-up and SchedulingProject Administration Operations and Close-OutPromote Customer RelationsPromote Culture Leadership and Employee DevelopmentMinimum RequirementsHigh School Diploma or years of commercial construction field years of direct supervisory experience related to subcontractor using a personal computer (PC) and company communication tools such as email the internet and Microsoft products (e.g. Word Excel Office Outlook).Ability to read plans and ConditionsThe majority of work is completed on job sites in an office trailer or in an existing structure. Due to daily condition changes on construction projects when employees are outside of the office trailer or structure they must wear appropriate personal protective equipment as required by the companys safety policies and as required for weather project team and/or team member may need to move to other projected work geographic locations if Rate: $*This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting.
