Assistant Property Manager

Rookwood Properties Inc. is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Assistant Property Manager to join our team at The Pines our luxury apartment community located in Sharonville Ohio.

At The Pines youll play an important role in creating an outstanding experience for our residentsfrom their first tour and leasing experience through move-in renewal and beyond. Founded in 1966 Rookwood Properties Inc. is a privately owned real estate company engaged in the development and management of residential office industrial and retail properties.

Today Rookwood Properties manages 1600 market-rate apartment units along with office retail and warehouse properties throughout Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky Louisville Columbus Dayton Ohio and South Carolina.

What Youll Do

As the Assistant Property Manager at The Pines you will be an integral part of the property management team and will:

• • Manage the leasing process from initial prospect contact through move-in creating a welcoming and professional experience.
  • Showcase the features amenities and lifestyle of The Pines to prospective residents.
  • Build strong relationships with prospective and current residents while providing exceptional customer service.
  • Assist with monthly rent payment processing in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Coordinate resident move-ins and ensure required documentation and records are complete and accurate.
  • Support resident retention initiatives and help create an exceptional community experience that encourages renewals.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential resident files and electronic records.
  • Respond professionally and promptly to resident questions and concerns.
  • Assist the Property Manager with daily property operations and administrative responsibilities.
  • Complete accurate weekly reports for the Property Manager and District Property Manager.
  • Work closely with the maintenance and management teams to ensure residents receive outstanding service.
  • Follow company policies procedures and applicable federal state and local requirements.
  • Identify opportunities to improve leasing performance resident satisfaction and overall property operations.

Qualifications include:

• • Two or more years of experience in leasing sales customer service or a related field; residential property management experience preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong judgment and decision-making abilities.
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Professional demeanor with a positive solutions-oriented attitude.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Experience with Rent Manager or other property management software is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently while contributing effectively to a team.
