Location

East Lyme CT This is a full-time on-site opportunity where youll work closely with project teams field personnel and clients throughout the project lifecycle.

Note

Applicants must have at least 1 year of experience in mechanical contracting or commercial civil or industrial construction. A Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering Construction Management or a related field is preferred.

Job Description

• Assist Project Managers with planning scheduling budgeting and project execution.
• Coordinate subcontractors suppliers and project stakeholders.
• Track project progress and provide updates to project leadership.
• Manage submittals RFIs drawing logs and project documentation.
• Assist with purchase orders subcontract setup and change order management.
• Conduct jobsite visits to monitor quality safety and project progress.
• Support labor tracking cost coding budgeting and forecasting.
• Coordinate project meetings and prepare meeting agendas and documentation.
• Review project drawings specifications schedules and contract documents.
• Assist with equipment deliveries material procurement and project closeout documentation.
• Collaborate closely with field teams to ensure successful project execution.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering Construction Management or related field preferred.
• 1 year of experience in mechanical contracting or commercial civil or industrial construction.
• Strong organizational communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Experience with Microsoft Project Procore Bluebeam or Autodesk tools is a plus.
• Interest in learning HVAC piping plumbing and mechanical systems.
