Wayne State University is searching for an experienced Assistant Professor Research - Center for Molecular Medicine and Genetics at its Detroit campus location.

Teach university courses in Mitochondrial Biology including: MGG 7020 Metabolism & Disease; MGG 8770 Molecular Biology of Mitochondrial Disease; IBS 7015 Interdisciplinary Cell & Molecular Biology; & MGG 7400 Molecular Biology of Cellular Signaling. Develop course in molecular biology of aging. Course number not yet assigned. Advise students. Conduct research in mitochondrial bioenergetics. Publish results in peer-reviewed journals & present results of research at professional conferences.
Position requires a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Molecular Cell Biology.
Position also requires: Ph.D. dissertation in mitochondrial bioenergetics.
