Assistant Production Supervisor Nights B Shift

As aAssistant Shift Supervisor you will support the Production Supervisor in overseeing daily manufacturing operations. Youll help establish production priorities coordinate cross-functional activities and drive continuous improvement in quality efficiency and cost-effectiveness across the production floor.

• Assist in setting production and quality control standards in collaboration with management.

• Gather and analyze data related to product types quantities specifications and delivery timelines.

• Coordinate production activities with procurement maintenance and quality control to optimize resource utilization.

• Review reports to identify and resolve production and quality issues.

• Support efforts to minimize scrap and MRO (Materials Request Order) usage.

• Maintain clean and organized workstations and promote operational efficiency.

• Monitor production metrics and prepare monthly performance reports.

• Drive improvements in defect rates and overall production quality.

• Ensure employees understand and follow policies and procedures.

• Maintain adequate stock of operational supplies and equipment.

• Monitor SPC (Statistical Process Control) systems and address recurring issues.

• Compile store and retrieve production data for analysis.

• Perform other duties as assigned to support production goals.

• Bachelors degree or equivalent preferred.

• At least 2 years of experience in a production or manufacturing environment.

• Or an equivalent combination of education experience and/or training.

• Strong understanding of logistics operations and production planning.

• Ability to analyze data and implement strategies to meet business goals.

• Financial and analytical skills to support operational decision-making.

• Knowledge of international logistics and customs regulations is a plus.

• Proven success in change management and process improvement.

• Effective communication and leadership skills.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel Word PowerPoint) and email tools.

• Experience in coordinating cross-functional production activities.

• Familiarity with SPC systems and quality control processes.
