Summary:
Assist the secondary school principal in the areas of instructional leadership and supervision curriculumdevelopment staff developmentafter-school programming and discipline referrals.
Qualifications:
- Virginia teaching license with endorsement in Administration and Supervision Pre-K 12 oreligibility for such
- 3 year minimum of successful teaching experience preferably at the middle school level
- Demonstrated knowledge of instructional practices and curriculum development
- Ability to build positive school culture through cultivation of positive relationships
- Demonstrates interpersonal skills necessary for working effectively with students teachers parents and administrators
Salary:
Rangebased on the 2026-2027 Assistant Principal Salary Scale for 5 - 8 grades is $92700 - $142756; for 9 - 12 grades is $97850 - $150687.
