12-Hour Continental Day Shift
6:00 AM 6:00 PM
- Responsible for staging and mixing of paint for application.
- Back-up painter when necessary.
- Route maintenance of paint line equipment.
- Support PM Requirements.
- Completion of check sheets.
- Preparation of paint for application.
- Physical and visual checks on metal entering and exiting paint room.
- Managing hazardous waste according to state and federal regulations.
- Operation of Forklift.
Required Education/Experience:
- Knowledge of paint processes.
- Mobile Equipment Certification required (or the ability to attain this certification through Hydro training as per the Mobile Equipment Policy.
- Must have ability and willingness to move into Painter role within six months.
- Must be able to successfully pass pulmonary/respiratory testing.
- Must have ability to push pull and maneuver heavy drums (up to 250 pounds) ofpaint on a regular basis with a partner.
Preferred Skills/Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 years experience in manufacturing.
- HSD / GED preferred.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English.
- Team player; Self-starter.
- Adaptable to change.
