Job Summary

Establishes relationships with community and other housing resources for the development of housing opportunities for clients. Acts as program liaison to local housing authority. Assists clients in learning and applying housing skills. Assists clients in accessing housing resources across the continuum of housing options to help clients achieve an optimal level of health and functioning in the community.


Hours: 40 hours per week; Monday - Friday 8:00 am to 4:30 pm

Duration: 4 - 6 months depending on program needs

As an Assistant Office Manager you will:

Assist the Office Manager with organizing coordinating and monitoring all non-clinical operations of the program office. A high level of confidentiality is in this position.

  • Provide oversight of reception function including direct supervision of staff.
  • Bill and maintain accounts payable for all vendors. Accumulate and code invoices statements and receipts for checks written and submits documents for approval.
  • May perform data entry reporting and tracking information for program management including billings and corrections as needed.
  • Serve as training and safety coordinator for the program and is the main point of contact for Relias.
  • Assist with problem solving any identified areas of concern regarding office needs for staff such as computer or IT issues.
  • Coordinate inventory and salvage tracking.
  • Provide confidential administrative support for program management in the form of correspondencecommunications and/or recordkeeping.

Our Intensive Mobile Psychosocial Assertive Community Treatment programs (Downtown IMPACTIMPACT Senior IMPACT and South Bay IMPACT) provide intensive community-based case management services for homeless adults throughout San Diego County. We deliver fully integrated services to clients diagnosed with a serious mental illness as well as individuals with co-occurring mental health and substance disorders.

Our programs utilize the evidence-based practice of Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) to support our clients in the higher level of community care and to assist them in reaching their goals and living a life not dominated by mental illness. Education: High School diploma with at least 1 year of related experience required. Bachelors degree is strongly preferred.

Additional Qualifications and Skills

  • Two years administrative support plus 6 months supervisory experience.
  • Professional verbal and written communications skills. College level bookkeeping skills.
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office to include Outlook Word Excel applications as well as internet research skills required
  • A valid California drivers license in good standing personal vehicle proof of insurance and eligibility to be an approved CRF driver is required to fulfill the essential functions of this position
  • Must be able to pass criminal/background clearance

Required Experience:
