Assistant Middle School Volleyball Coach

Position Overview
Lincoln County School District #1 is seeking a dedicated and motivated Assistant Middle School Volleyball Coach to support and strengthen our volleyball program. The ideal candidate is committed to developing student-athletes both on and off the court while promoting academic success sportsmanship character development and community pride.

Primary Responsibilities

• Assist the Lead Coach in developing and implementing a comprehensive volleyball program.
• Help plan and lead practices conditioning sessions games and off-season development.
• Teach fundamental volleyball skills techniques strategy and teamwork while prioritizing student safety.
• Support game preparation film review and practice organization.
• Assist with equipment management inventory and court setup.
• Foster positive relationships with student-athletes parents staff and the community.
• Uphold and enforce district state and athletic association policies and procedures.
• Support academic success and monitor student-athlete eligibility.
• Participate in team community and booster club events as requested.

Qualifications

• Previous coaching experience preferred.
• Valid Wyoming PTSB coach permit or ability to obtain within one year.
• Strong communication leadership and teamwork skills.
• Ability to serve as a positive role model and mentor to student-athletes.
• CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
• Must pass a background check per district requirements.
