The schedule for this position is 7:00am to 3:30pm

This is not a remote position. Candidates will report for duty at our Phoenix (Deer Valley) AZ office.

Position Summary

TheAssistant Aircraft Maintenance Controller provides essential support to Maintenance Control by helping coordinate maintenance activities track aircraft status and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

Schedule

• 1st and 2nd shift coverage required
• Flexibility for evenings weekends and operational needs

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in coordinating maintenance activities inspections and repairs
• Track aircraft availability and maintenance progress
• Communicate with maintenance teams operations vendors and pilots
• Support discrepancy tracking and follow-up actions
• Maintain accurate maintenance documentation and system updates
• Assist with parts scheduling and maintenance logistics
• Support adherence to FAA and company safety standards

Required Qualifications

• FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) License Highly Preferred
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Aviation maintenance or operations experience preferred
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screening background check credit check DMV check with valid drivers license and employment verification.
