Assistant Installation Technician

• Assist lead technicians with installation maintenance and repair of HVAC systems and equipment
• Carry tools materials and equipment to job sites and maintain an organized work area
• Learn to troubleshoot heating cooling ventilation and refrigeration systems under supervision
• Assist with ductwork installation equipment change-outs and system startups
• Perform routine maintenance tasks including filter changes coil cleaning and system inspections
• Help check refrigerant pressures temperatures electrical components and airflow measurements
• Safely use hand tools power tools ladders and diagnostic equipment
• Load unload and inventory materials parts and equipment for daily jobs
• Maintain company vehicles tools and equipment in clean working condition
• Follow all safety procedures company policies and OSHA guidelines
• Communicate professionally with customers and team members on job progress and site conditions
• Complete job-related paperwork service notes and documentation as required
• Participate in ongoing training to develop technical HVAC knowledge and certifications
• Maintain punctual attendance and readiness for assigned work schedules including occasional overtime or emergency calls

• High school diploma or equivalent
• NATE certification preferred
• Must display strong communication skills and technical competence
• Ability to pass a thorough background check and drug screen
• Clean driving record
