Full-Time Dental Assistant Monday to Friday

Were looking for a reliable and experienced Dental Assistant to join our team in Ventura . This role requires full-time availability with at least 2 Saturdays a month. If youre a motivated self-starter with strong clinical skills and a great work ethic wed love to connect with you.

Compensation

• Hourly Pay: We pay hourly depending on experience with consistent full-time hours and opportunities to pick up additional shifts across our offices based on performance and availability.

Responsibilities:

• Welcome patients and ensure a comfortable experience
• Assist the dentist chairside during procedures
• Take x-rays and impressions
• Maintain strict sterilization protocols and a clean operatory
• Monitor supplies and lab cases
• Complete daily weekly and monthly logs
• Call in prescriptions as directed
• Provide clear and accurate post-operative instructions
• Document clinical notes precisely and thoroughly
• Perform additional tasks as assigned

Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a dental practice
• High School Diploma or GED (dental assisting certification preferred)
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Experience with Diamond Dental Dentrix Open Dental or similar dental software
• Current Hep B 8-Hour Infection Control Certification California X-ray License and CPR/BLS
• Reliable punctual and comfortable working independently on Saturdays
