Firehouse Subs is seeking a driven and experienced Assistant General Manager (AGM) to support restaurant operations develop team members and help drive sales and profitability.
As the AGM youll partner closely with the General Manager to lead the restaurant ensure operational excellence and build a strong high-performing team. This is a key leadership role and a stepping stone to becoming a General Manager.
Responsibilities
Assist the General Manager in overseeing daily restaurant operations
Lead shifts and ensure high standards in food quality service and cleanliness
Train coach and develop Crew Members and Shift Leaders
Support hiring onboarding and performance management
Help manage P&L including labor food cost and inventory control
Ensure compliance with all food safety and sanitation standards
Handle guest concerns and ensure an exceptional customer experience
Assist with scheduling ordering and administrative tasks
Step in to run the restaurant in the absence of the General Manager
Qualifications
2 years of restaurant management experience (QSR or fast-casual preferred)
Strong leadership and team development skills
Experience with scheduling inventory and cost control
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Flexible schedule including nights and weekends
