The Assistant Director Specialized Masters Programs oversees program resources to ensure alignment with the programs mission and established priorities timelines and budgets. The role involves administrative managerial and professional responsibilities including leading the development implementation and evaluation of strategic plans that support institutional goals for the assigned program(s).
CORE JOB FUNCTIONS
- Leads the development implementation and evaluation of strategic plans that advance program goals.
- Develops and updates training materials for staff faculty and external partners.
- Oversees all student programming including offcampus activities special events and networking opportunities.
- Plans and manages the program budget including monthly projections and trend analysis.
- Manages all program logistics and operations including program development.
- Oversees registration and advising processes.
- Maintains formal documentation and data reports related to accreditation curriculum and program quality including graduation clearance.
- Advises students on academic development and achievement.
- Coordinates course offerings and program direction with faculty department chairs and deans.
- Supports faculty in designing and implementing assessment plans methods and evaluation tools.

Education:
Bachelors Degree in relevant field
Certification and Licensing:

Experience:
Minimum 4 years of relevant experience
Knowledge Skills and Attitudes:
- Knowledge of business and management principles.
- Ability to direct manage implement and evaluate department operations.
- Ability to establish department goals and objectives that support the strategic plan.
- Ability to effectively plan delegate and/or supervise the work of others.
- Ability to lead motivate develop and train others.
