Job Summary:
Under the direction of the Partnership Director and the Principal of Early College and Innovative Programs the Assistant Director will support the planning coordination and implementation of innovative educational initiatives across the district. This position will ensure that enrollment communication and compliance processes are effectively managed to provide all students with access to high quality and flexible learning opportunities.
Qualifications:
Required:
- Minimum of BS/BA degree in Education
- Minimum five years of homeschool experience
- Proficiency with student information systems
- Excellent communication skills
- Demonstrated success as a collaborator and proven team player
- Meets federal Every Student Succeeds Act requirements
Desired Characteristics:
- Experience with Gull Lake Virtual Partnership
- Homeschooling environment experience
- Knowledge of Google Workspace and other applications
- Ability to plan and organize; excellent work habits
- Ability to manage time and prioritize tasks effectively with a high level of autonomy
Duties:
- Coordinate and support the student enrollment process ensuring timely and accurate documentation
- Maintain compliance with student recordkeeping pupil accounting and applicable state reporting requirements
- Assist with the development and maintenance of the annual program catalog and ensure alignment with District and state requirements
- Develop and distribute program communications including newsletters social media content to increase awareness and understanding of innovative programs
- Serve as a liaison to students families and community stakeholders regarding innovative programs
- Collaborate with the technology team to improve systems processes and user experience
- Perform other duties as assigned by the principal or director
