Are you a passionate early childhood educator ready to step into leadership
At Mt. Sinai Kids we believe playful learning starts with supported staff. We are looking for an Assistant Director to partner with our Directors in shaping a warm safe and engaging environment for children on the Upper East Side. This candidate will help oversee our growing child care center.

Key Responsibilities:
Mentor and support our amazing team of teachers
Build meaningful relationships with children and families
Help manage daily center operations
Provide support to the Director with managing center operations
Work closely with the Business Operations Manager and company leadership team.
Hire train supervise and guide teachers and staff.
Communicate regularly with parents and address their questions
Maintain accurate health safety and operational records
Provide classroom coverage as needed
Ensure full compliance with state childcare and safety regulations
Qualifications:
A love for young children and progressive early education.
Experience in a licensed preschool or child care center.
Bachelors degree in Early Childhood Education Child Development or related field
NYS State Certification in Birth-2
Masters in ECE in progress or completed
Minimum 2 years working in a licensed child care or preschool setting as a Head Teacher
Strong leadership organization and communication skills
