Job Summary
- Support the Center Director in daily operations of the childcare facility
- Supervise mentor and coach classroom teachers and support staff
- Ensure compliance with state licensing regulations and company policies
- Assist with enrollment family communication and parent engagement initiatives
- Maintain a safe clean and stimulating learning environment for all children
- Step in to lead the center in the Directors absence
- Support curriculum implementation and monitor classroom quality standards
- Degree in Early Childhood Education Child Development or a related field preferred
- 2 years of experience in a childcare or early education setting
- Prior leadership or supervisory experience strongly preferred
- Knowledge of Virginia childcare licensing regulations is a plus
- Strong communication organizational and problem-solving skills
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Warm professional demeanor with a passion for child development
