Assistant Buyer Fashion Industry
Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Buyer to support our buying team in a fast-paced fashion environment. This role is ideal for someone who is highly organized efficient and passionate about fashion and trends.
Key Responsibilities:
- Attend shows and appointments alongside the buying team
- Meet with vendors and build professional relationships
- Assist in product selection and assortment planning
- Accurately enter and manage purchase orders in company software
- Review orders for accuracy pricing and delivery timelines
- Track shipments and follow up with vendors on order status
- Support day-to-day administrative tasks for the buying department
