Job Summary

The Beverage Manager is responsible for overseeing the efficient and compliant operation of the beverage department on the casino floor in accordance with company standards policies and procedures as well as all applicable federal state and local liquor health and safety regulations. This role encompasses comprehensive personnel management including recruitment training scheduling performance coaching and employee development while collaborating with Director on departmental budget planning and financial performance monitoring.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Oversee all beverage service operations to ensure strict adherence to company standards policies procedures and all applicable federal state and local liquor health and safety regulations.
  • Conduct comprehensive reviews of administrative functions performed by beverage supervisors ensuring accuracy timeliness and full compliance with established policies and procedures.
  • Optimize staffing levels across the beverage department by collaborating with supervisors to implement strategic adjustments aligned with operational business needs.
  • Partner with Director in developing departmental budget goals and objectives while maintaining rigorous oversight of the Beverage Departments financial performance and cost management.
  • Direct all personnel-related functions including recruitment hiring scheduling comprehensive training performance evaluation coaching career development promotion consideration and separation management.
  • Establish and enforce consistent service standards across all beverage operations ensuring continuous adherence and quality excellence.
  • Serve as the primary departmental representative in labor relations matters unemployment proceedings and other internal and external employee-related proceedings as required.

Qualifications :

  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Two (2) years of prior experience in a supervisory (or higher) role in food and beverage operations preferrd.
  • Must have thorough knowledge of service standards beverage products preparations and presentation.
  • Must have excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office products preferred.
  • Extended periods of standing and walking circulating through the operations required.
  • Must be able to obtain/maintain any necessary licenses and/or certifications.
