Job Description: ASI is seeking to add an assembly technician to our growing this role an assembly technician will perform a variety of tasks to assemble various equipment. Tasks include pallet building machining painting and assembly with a variety of hand and power tools. Welding experience is highly desirable but we are willing to train the right applicant. There is room for advancement for those who have the ability to learn other skills such as electrical panel building welding or who show leadership qualities. This job requires someone who appreciates doing something different and unique on a regular basis and who is looking to grow in their career by learning new competencies regularly. Experience is not necessary but a willingness and ability to learn quickly is required. Mechanical knowledge is preferred. Must be able to work first and second shift.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform pallet building machining painting and assembly tasks.
- Use a variety of hand and power tools.
- Read and interpret prints.
- Identify various kinds of structural steel.
- Learn new skills such as electrical panel building and welding.
- Travel to customer locations for field service work.
Skills:
- Basic knowledge of reading prints.
- Ability to use a tape measure.
- Proficiency with hand and power tools.
- Ability to identify various kinds of structural steel.

Knowledge:
- Mechanical knowledge is preferred.
