Major Tasks Responsibilities & Key AccountabilitiesAssembly & Production ExecutionAssemble components sub-assemblies and final equipment in accordance with engineering drawingswork instructions and torque specificationsPerform installation of mechanical hydraulic and electrical components as requiredSafely and effectively use hand tools power tools and specialized assembly equipmentMaintain production pace and efficiency while ensuring accuracy and qualityQuality & InspectionInspect assemblies to ensure compliance with quality standards and specificationsIdentify troubleshoot and report defects inconsistencies or build issuesParticipate in root cause analysis and corrective actions to improve product qualitySafety & ComplianceFollow all health safety and environmental policies in a heavy manufacturing environmentMaintain proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all timesSupport a safety-first culture by identifying hazards and reporting unsafe conditionsContinuous ImprovementActively participate in continuous improvement initiatives (CI) and lean manufacturing practicesIdentify opportunities to improve efficiency reduce waste and enhance workflowSupport implementation of 5S standards and workplace organization initiativesTeam CollaborationWork collaboratively within a cross-functional production teamSupport team members and assist in other areas as needed to meet production goalsCommunicate effectively with team leads supervisors and quality personnelDocumentation & ReportingAccurately complete production documentation checklists and build recordsMaintain accountability for work performed and quality standards achievedPerform other duties as assigned to support manufacturing operationsMinimum QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent Ability to follow detailed work instructions technical drawings and standard operating procedures Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced physically demanding environmentMust pass any drug screens background checks and any pre-employment tests which will be conducted in accordance with applicable QualificationsPrevious experience in assembly manufacturing or production environments Experience working with heavy equipment automotive or industrial machinery Experience using hand tools power tools and torque tools Familiarity with quality standards and production metrics Experience working to production targets or takt time environmentsKnowledge Skills Abilities & CompetenciesStrong mechanical aptitude and hands-on problem-solving ability Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and assembly instructions High attention to detail with a focus on quality and precision Ability to multi-task and prioritize work in a fast-paced production environment Effective communication and teamwork skills Strong work ethic reliability and accountability Willingness to learn adapt and grow within a manufacturing environmentMust wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all timesJob ConditionsBoth office environment and occasionally manufacturing/factory to noise and temperature RequirementsThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
