Hours:

1st Shift 6:00am - 2:00pm

Pay:

$18.18 - 23.82

What Will You Do

• Estimates requisitions and inspects materials to meet production goals.

• Examines items produced to determine if items meet specifications.

• Interprets company policies to workers and enforces policies and safety regulations.

• Interprets specifications drawings and job orders to subordinates and assigns duties.

• Establishes or adjusts work procedures to meet production schedules.

• Check inventory to ascertain that all necessary parts and quantities are available and if necessary confer with purchasing department.

• Identify and apply Lean methodologies to ensure improved production methods tools and equipment maintenance and inventory and quality of product.

• Meet production quotas and maintain quality standards.

• Responsible for training new employees.

• Thorough knowledge of activities of workers supervised.

• Maintains a clean and safe working environment in accordance with 5S standards.

• Responsible for 3 Tier meetings with employees.

• Follow written standard work and be able to develop standard work and maintain.

• Responsible for updating production boards hourly.

• Assist in driving the job rotation program.

• May provide input on performance appraisal rewarding disciplinary actions addressing complaints and resolving problems for employees in group.

• Performs other duties as assigned.

What Do You Need

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Requires 18 months of on-the-job experience (or supervisors discretion).

• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules operating and maintenance instructions blueprints production work orders and procedure manuals.

• Ability to complete paperwork and correspondence.

• Must possess good communication skills.

• Ability to add subtract multiply and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers common fractions and decimals.

• Ability to compute rate ratio and percentage.
