Dhaka Technologies Limited Company is hiring an Assembly / Harnessing Technician on behalf of an aerospace and defense manufacturing client. The successful candidate will join the Manufacturing Assembly and Test team directly reporting to the Manufacturing Supervisor and will work in an onsite collaborative environment on first shift.
The Assembly / Harnessing Technician builds high reliability chassis and final assemblies performs high reliability soldering and crimping on complex sub-assemblies and works directly from engineering drawings and written instructions in a highly regulated manufacturing environment.
Base Salary: $65000 to $72000

- Assemble high reliability chassis and final assemblies using circuit cards standoffs wire harnesses solder and crimping and electrical and mechanical instruments.
- Perform high reliability soldering and crimping operations on complex sub-assemblies and on electronic and mechanical assemblies including repair of circuit boards jumper wires and wire harnesses.
- Decipher and work from assembly drawings worksheets parts lists test specifications and other written and oral instructions.
- Know and follow applicable Electro-Static Discharge (ESD) procedures.
- Perform running harnessing and work with motion control pointing mechanisms as required.
- Work in concert with Product Engineering to diagnose and propose the necessary rework on models that are intricate in structure and design.
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Five or more years of electrical assembly and soldering experience.
- Experience in a manufacturing environment such as aerospace or medical devices and other FDA-regulated production. Required.
- J-STD solder certification. Required.
- Ability to work directly from engineering drawings and written instructions.
- Prior experience in a similar role within aerospace manufacturing is preferred. Candidates from outside the industry will be considered where they bring experience in other highly regulated or complex manufacturing environments.
- J-STD soldering certification is mandatory. An active current certification is preferred but candidates who have previously held the certification will be considered and support is available for reactivation or re-certification.
