Build Innovative Food Processing Equipment with JBT Marel

JBT Marel is looking for a Mechanical Assembler to join our manufacturing this hands-on role youll assemble industry-leading food processing equipment using mechanical electrical hydraulic and pneumatic components. • Assemble mechanical electrical hydraulic and pneumatic components on food processing equipment.
• Read and interpret mechanical drawings electrical schematics work instructions and bills of materials.
• Perform equipment testing and troubleshooting to ensure products meet quality and performance standards.
• Use hand tools power tools measurement tools and fabrication equipment safely and effectively.
• Operate overhead cranes forklifts (training provided) and other shop equipment as needed.
• Complete work within established labor standards while maintaining a clean organized and safe work area.
• Inspect your work for quality and make adjustments as needed to ensure equipment meets specifications.
• Collaborate with engineering production and fellow team members to meet production goals.

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous manufacturing and/or mechanical assembly experience preferred.
• Ability to read mechanical drawings and electrical schematics.
• Basic mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Experience using hand tools power tools and measuring instruments.
• Basic computer skills with the ability to view drawings and work instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Welding experience is a plus but not required.
• Experience with industrial controls variable frequency drives (VFDs) servo motors cameras or laser scanners is a plus.

• Ability to stand walk bend and climb throughout the workday.
• Lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
• Push and move carts and materials.
• Work from ladders or elevated platforms when needed.
• Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment with machinery overhead cranes forklifts varying temperatures and industrial noise.
