Job Summary:
The Assembler will assemble manufactured products and pack according to specifications.
Essential Functions:
- Assembles machinery fabricated metal products electrical equipment appliances and more according to directions.
- Reads blueprints schematics or similar documentation then builds to those specifications.
- Uses various machines and hand tools to accomplish assigned tasks.
- Maintains logs records and reports concerning production machine maintenance and product inconsistencies.
- Maintains equipment and conveyors and performs basic repairs when needed.
- Inventories tools parts and supplies; contacts materials handler if supplies are needed.
- Periodically checks products per company policy to ensure quality and uniform completion; resolves any identified problems and alerts supervisor.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Ability to read and understand blueprints and schematics.
- Detail-oriented and consistent.
- Works well as a productive member of a team.
- Ability to properly maintain and perform basic repairs on equipment.
- Basic ability in mathematics reading or writing.
- Must demonstrate the ability and willingness to obtain an overhead crane permit as part of job requirements.
Education & Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
Background Prerequisites:
Must undergo and meet company standards for background check employment verification reference checks physical and controlled substance testing.

- Ability to stand and/or walk for extended periods of time during the work shift.
- Frequent use of hands wrists and arms for grasping handling reaching and assembling components.
- Regularly required to lift carry push and pull materials or parts up to 50 pounds (assistance or mechanical aids provided for heavier loads).
- Ability to bend stoop kneel crouch or climb as job duties require.
- Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination to handle small and large components with precision.
- Capability to operate hand tools power tools and assembly equipment safely and effectively.
- Visual acuity to read blueprints work instructions and inspect parts for quality.
- Tolerance for moderate noise vibration and occasional exposure to oils solvents or other manufacturing materials (with proper PPE provided).
