Summary of the Role
The Assembler Light Non-Electronic I is responsible for accurately assembling equipment and products by following detailed verbal and written instructions processes and procedures. This role involves using various hand and power tools measuring instruments and gauges to ensure quality and precision. The assembler may rework or reassemble units as needed maintaining alignment within specified tolerances. Operating overhead cranes and forklifts is required along with upholding a safe and clean work environment in compliance with company regulations.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Follow verbal and written work instructions processes and procedures to accurately assemble equipment and products
- Use a variety of hand and power tools measuring instruments and gauges
- Follow all quality and established assembly process requirements
- Reassembles or reworks units as required
- Keep alignment procedures within set tolerances
- Operate overhead cranes and forklifts as required
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment by complying with procedures rules and regulations
- Train other employees
- Meet or exceed the standard hours for each job
- Performs other related duties as assigned
- Maintain a professional company image always
- Productively participate in a Continuous Improvement work environment
REQUIREMENTS FOR ALL JOBS
