Job Summary
Nesco Resource is looking for an Assembler located in New Milford CT. This is a temp to perm opportunity for the right candidate.
Shift: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm
Pay: $18-$21/hour based on experience
Position Overview: The Assembler will be responsible for assembling small precision components and finished products according to established work instructions drawings and quality standards. The successful candidate will receive training on assembly procedures tools equipment and quality expectations. This role requires strong attention to detail good hand-eye coordination reliability and the ability to work carefully and consistently in a production environment.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Assemble components and subassemblies according to work instructions drawings and established procedures.
- Use basic hand tools and assembly equipment to complete assigned tasks.
- Carefully handle small and precision components during the assembly process.
- Follow detailed instructions and established manufacturing procedures.
- Inspect completed assemblies for proper fit appearance alignment and workmanship.
- Perform basic adjustments or corrections as needed to ensure products meet specifications.
- Maintain accurate production and quality records as required.
- Keep the work area clean organized and free of unnecessary materials.
- Follow all company safety quality and production procedures.
- Work effectively with team members supervisors and other departments.
- Meet established production and quality standards while maintaining attention to detail.
- Participate in training to learn new assembly techniques processes and equipment.
- Perform other manufacturing and assembly duties as assigned.
- No previous manufacturing or assembly experience required; entry-level candidates are encouraged to apply.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to perform repetitive tasks accurately.
- Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
- Comfortable working with small components and basic hand tools.
- Ability to read and follow written instructions and basic technical information.
- Mechanical aptitude or an interest in learning mechanical assembly is a plus.
- Ability to work independently while also contributing effectively as part of a team.
- Dependable punctual and willing to learn.
- Ability to maintain consistent quality and productivity in a manufacturing environment.
- Previous experience in manufacturing production assembly electronics or a technical trade is helpful but not required.
